Although she didn't get her first dog until the age of 14, Lauren has always had a keen interest in dogs.
She has explored several different training methods with her own dogs, and also developed an interest in dog behaviour.
This led her to take a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare at Bristol University, leading to her obtaining a job with
Guide Dogs for the Blind, where she is now a Dog Care Technician, looking after the care and welfare of dogs during their early training.
Lauren took charge of the 'Beginners Class in October 2008, and scored an early success with no less than four of her class
achieving their Bronze Good Citizen Awards after only a few weeks of training.
Her continuing success with the class can be gauged by the list of those who've achieved the Level 2 Awards with their dogs.
Latterly, as her family has grown, Lauren now takes the Late Class, along with Beryl, Val and Dave
