and Other Deserving Causes

Wolvey Woofers is a non-profit making group.
At the end of each year we aim to select one or more charities or other deserving causes
to whom we will donate any surplus funds.
We normally aim to support at least one Local Charity, one Dog Charity and one Human Charity,
and to this end we welcome from Club Members, nominations of deserving causes
from which we can select one or more to receive a donation.
Although the Club broke even during 2009, its first year of operation, there were no surplus funds remaining,
so regrettably, no donations were possible.
From the end of 2010 however, thanks to the club's continuing success,
we have been in a position to make donations at the end of most years.

2011 & 2012

No Donations were made during this period due to the possibility of losing the village hall as a training venue
with the attendant requirement to find alternative premises, and the consequent need to conserve funds
until our future was assured.
Once our future had been settled however, the following year (2013)we increased both the number of donations made
and the sums donated in order to compensate.
