As usual, the last training evening before the Christmas break was devoted to our Christmas Party.
Some 20 dogs and their well trained owners turned up to enjoy themselves with a number of traditional doggy party games, socialise and tuck into the party food. Happily, Dave was up and around again, and was not only kept busy providing tea and coffee, but was also persuaded to judge the Fancy Dress competitions, while Beryl, Lauren, Val and Pete organised the games and competitions, and Pauline and Wendy were kept busy providing encouragement and support.

Winner of the Large Dogs Fancy Dress was HARLEY with SYLVIA,
while the Small Dogs Fancy Dress was won by BOBBY with MAC.

The Winners of the 'KNOCKOUT RELAY' were SID & SOPHIE

Those present were divided into two teams - BLUE & ORANGE for some of the games, the first of which was the 'WORD GAME', which was won by the ORANGE TEAM

The last game before the food break was SIMON SAYS, which, after several attempts to catch them out, was declared a draw, with BRIAN & IZZY and DEBBIE & CLEMMIE being the joint winners.

At the end of the food break, several presentations were made, ceertificates for Level 1, Level 2 and our first Level 3, followed by the latest award of the WOLVEY WOOFERS CUP, and a commendation to Sylvia & Harley, who had qualified as a PAT Dog. Photos of these can be seen on the 'Members Achievements' page.

After the presentations, the games resumed with a 'RELAY OVER THE OBSTACLES', which was won by the BLUE TEAM.
This left the teams on an equal footing, so the winning team was decided by the 'KNOCKOUT SIT / DOWN / STAND' game, which was won by BRYAN & DAISY of the ORANGE TEAM, making the ORANGE TEAM the overall winners.

The final game, 'PASS THE PARCEL' was won by BISCUITS and PAULA, (Biscuits being pictured here with Paul).

Well Done to everyone who took part.
